About
We are a rental Podcast Studio attached to a photography and art studio, located in the Heart of the St. Paul Art district in the FOK building next to Downtown St. Paul and directly across from Harriet Island, with easy access from I-94, I-35 and Highway 52.
We boast 4000 sqft of studio space that is divided up into 3 studios that can be used independently or together. 2 of the rooms have an abundance of natural light from the North, West and South.
The building in which we are located dates back to 1900 in the manufacturing industry. The building is armored in columns, bricks and concrete, that allows an industrial feel, combined with updated looks that give an intergraded feel of modern and retro.
We have been located in the Lowertown and West St Paul Area since 2004 and are part of the art fabric of the community.
We also will be offering education classes on many different genres to help educate and develop local artist that will be taught by local artists.

Policies
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Blackheart Studio retains the sole right and discretion to approve or deny any refunds for any reason.
Photoshoots and Podcast reservations
All deposits are non-refundable. All cancellations within 48 hours will be charged the full amount of the rental unless the time slot reserved is booked with an equitable session. If this occurs then the deposit is forfeited but the remaining rental fee will not be applied.
Any rental cancellations occurring before 48 hours prior to scheduled rental times will be allowed one transfer or reschedule with no additional penalty. Rescheduled photoshoots are not given priority status.
SESSION TIME POLICY
For respect to other clients needs we must enforce a on-time policy. The time of your booked session is the starting and ending time. No additional time will be granted unless there are no other bookings before or after your session. If this is the case then an additional charged hour will be accessed after fifteen (15) minutes of elapsed time has occurred. A 15 min window post of your shoot has been added to give time for loading and unloading.
CLIENT CONDUCT
Blackheart Studio is a professional studio. We expect our clients to maintain the same high standards while they are at Blackheart Studio. No Illegal activities will be tolerated or accepted at the studio or in the ACVR building which it is located. Any conduct that is deemed unacceptable or illegal by any Blackheart Studio representative, will result in removal from the premises and law enforcement called if necessary. Also, any and all fees paid or due will be forfeit. NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE ANY PART OF THE BUILDING. Any persons violating this policy will be asked to leave the premisses and banned from further rentals.
MEDIA POLICIES
Blackheart Studio holds the right to use media produced in its studio to use as self promotion. Proper credits of the content created will be used. If the client wishes the produced media not to be used they are required to notify the studio representative.
